The festival and all screenings and workshops are all at no cost to attend.  Free admission, no charge, no cost.

The Boonies International hopes you plan on submitting to and attending our 4 day film festival in Warren, Pennsylvania, USA.  In 2011 we screened over 60 films from a dozen countries we welcomed many filmmaker both screening and some just attending.  Make sure you check out The Boonies 2011 section in the Events Tab for info and photos from our 1st year!

When you get here you'll find that Warren sits within a forest and we're "Just Up The Road".  There's Wi-Fi, and wild life, there's cell towers and swimming holes, tree lined streets and night life once you get to The Boonies International Film Festival – August 14th - 17th, 2013.

So go ahead and submit your film to The Boonies International 2013.   We're very excited to see your film and how you tell your story.  Our awards include cash.

We think you, the filmmaker, should know that your screening and in fact all screenings and workshops at The Boonies International in Warren are open to the public at no cost – that's free. Hopefully more people will be able to see your film.

"SUPPORT THE IDEA" Campaign:

To make the festival free, the screenings free and the workshops free and open for anyone to attend at no cost, we like the Support the Idea Campaign. We see opening up the festival by removing admission cost as the best way to guarantee the educational opportunities and increase the audience watching films at The Boonies International.

We are counting on your support.

What we'd love to see is the general public 'Support the Idea" by donating to festival. By making the festival in Warren free to attend you start your Boonies adventure with a HUGE savings. Just check out the admission and or ticket cost of many film festivals – well really the cost of admission to any event can be staggering. Eliminating these costs will make these 4 days of film, music, technology and art open to education and open to roam!

So look at it this way – you can attend The Boonies International Film Festival 2013 at Warren, Pennsylvania, USA and not spend a penny on attending the festival, the films or the workshops and BTW most of the parties too. BUT… yeah there's always a but… but if you want to donate to the whole idea of it, if you want to Support the Idea of a free to attend international independent film festival then you could donate… only if you want to.

So attend for free. OR Donate and attend. Just attend.
